I want to introduce you to Kent and share his story in his words.  The transformation he has experienced is nothing short of truly life changing.  Kent is a wonderful example of my work and how passionate I am about teaching and educating my clients about nutrition and training.  This has not been a quick fix but Kent would agree that the knowledge that he has gained will be with him for life.  He will no longer have to ride the diet roller coaster and has strategies that he now lives by to continue to move towards his goals.  My program is not about deprivation but about the abundance of healthy choices and enjoying everything life has to offer.  Kent would agree that although making changes is challenging when you are starting it doesn't take long for new habits to be established.

I truly believe that we attract into our lives the right people, at the exact time we need them, and this is exactly how I feel about meeting Lisa.




In 2008, when I first became a client, my health was at an all-time low. I had spent most of my twenties drinking too much and eating way too many garbage foods and I was totally out of control. It wasn't until I got my first physical that I realized just how out of control things were. I was 34 years old, I weighed a scale-breaking 346lbs and my cholesterol and blood pressure were both off the chart. I was totally disgusted with myself, but honestly, I think I was more scared of what would happen if I didn't make a change. It was at this point that it really dawned on me that I needed some serious professional help and that is when I met Lisa.



Through a referral from a family friend I set up an appointment to go and meet her and see what she could offer. I had heard wonderful things about her so I had high hopes, and did she ever deliver! It took all of five minutes before I realized that I had just made the best decision in my entire life and from that day on I haven't looked back. Lisa took all the guess work out of everything and all I was asked to do was follow some routines. Sure, along the way she taught me how to understand food and explained how it all worked with my body, but at the beginning it was as easy as, “here is what I want you to do, now go and do it”, and that is exactly what I did.



Two years later, my entire life has changed. I have lost 85lbs and counting and my doctor nearly had a heart attack at my last physical. He said my improvement was off the chart and that I easily added 10 years to my life. I feel better now than I did in my teens and twenties and am excited to see how things will unfold as I continue to get in better and better shape. As incredible as all of this has been, I think the best part was that I gained a friend and teacher like Lisa. She has been there with unwavering support every step of the way and for that I will forever be in her debt.
